After a few years of side projects, film scoring and traveling it is time for the third Ugress album. "Unicorn" is released January 28th, on own label Uncanny Planet. The album is a veritable firework of electronic pop, dance-punk, groovy dub and cinematic dream-scores.
Unicorn is written and recorded in Istanbul, Paris, Bergen and Oslo, and mastered at The Exchange Studios (Bjšrk, Goldfrapp, Daft Punk, Depeche Mode, Sigur Ros et al), London.
In addition to a new, more energetic and vivid sound, featured vocals are also new and numerous for Unicorn. Mad genius GMM himself contributes, and special ladies Christine Litle and Heidi Marie Vestrheim participates on several tracks.
